The Righting Dishonorable Wrongs Fund
Although hard to believe in today’s world, in the past, a Naval Academy graduates who were suspected of being gay and who were interrogated and determined to be so, would have been given discharges characterized as “Dishonorable” even though the only “crime” was being gay.
The purpose of the “Righting Dishonorable Wrongs” is to provide legal assistance necessary to recharacterize these discharges through the Board for Correction of Naval Records.
